Woburn,
MA, June 1, 2005
- Boston Applied Technologies,
Incorporated (BATi) announced today that it has succeeded in increasing
its ceramics fabrication capabilities with a new set of production-line
equipment added to its facility earlier this year. Achievement of
this milestone not only doubled its materials fabrication output,
but also enabled BATi to realize an even lower overall production
cost.
Dr.
Kevin Zou, the Chief Technology Officer at BATi, commented, "This
is a significant accomplishment on the part of the Materials Research
Group. It will allow BATi to bring its advanced materials developed
at the R&D scale to full production mode in the shortest possible
time, and thus further strengthen its competitive edge. It also
shows the seriousness of BATi's commercialization efforts."
