Woburn, MA, March 20, 2008 -Boston Applied Technology, Inc. (BATi), a leading manufacturer of ultra-fast photonics devices, successfully exhibited at the Optical Fiber Communication Conference and Exposition (OFC) at the San Diego Convention Center, San Diego, CA, February 24-28, 2008

BATi showcased its nano-second speed, low-loss optical devices based on the revolutionary electro-optical material OptoCeramicTM. These included BATi's newly developed NanonaTM ultra-fast optical switch and also the high speed VOA, micro-VOA and solid-state polarization controllers.

"These days more and more business applications require high speed communications." observes Run Zhang, VP of engineering, "our ultra-fast devices can perfectly meet the speed requirements of our customers."
