Ferroelectric
materials have shown great potential for microwave, electro-optic,
integrated circuit, MEMS, capacitors and energy storage applications.
Barium Strontium Titanate (BST) is currently one of the most interesting
ferroelectrics due its high dielectric constant, low loss and composition
dependent Curie temperature (from 30 to 400 K). BATi has the capability
to provide BST in thin film and bulk forms. BST thin film is deposited
using Metal-Organic Chemical Liquid Deposition (MOCLD) method. Bulk
BST is manufactured by hot-press technique.
PMN-PT, PZN-PT and other ferroelectric materials are also available.
